Familia,
This week was a good week, kind of tough, but really just awesome.
The weather is kind of heating up here in Morelia... but its honestly not too hot... There is usually a nice breeze throughout the day. It has been raining every now and then but it really has been super nice weather... I honestly think I will miss the weather here.
Well the surprise baptism was achieved this week. Jonatán was baptized! He was going to be baptized last October with his great grandparents, uncles, and cousins but decided he didn't want to because it was a big commitment keeping all of the comandments. The kid is 10 years old... I don't think it's going to be super hard to keep the comandments ;) But he is really awesome and it was a surprise baptism because we didn't know if he was going to go through with it. As district leader I do baptismal interviews for the investigators in my district as well as the investigadors of the Zone Leaders... I never do the interviews for my own investigadors. But his baptism was very good and the Spirit was super strong and it was nice seeing the apoyo (how do you say that... back up? [support]) of the ward.
We have baptized every week for the last 3 weeks and I was super excited to baptize again this week but Pedro didn't go to church... so his baptism will be postponed. I just feel like I need to learn to be humble still. I've been thinking every night in my bed "how are we going to baptize this week?" and I think I need to change my attitude and focus more on the people.

Happy Birthday, Mother. I love you. Keep working hard.
After the mission I am unsure what I am going to do. In-N-Out is a good option but I'm not sure I want to go back there. It would be really neat to use my Spanish somewhere coming home from the mission. I do want to go to the University of Utah probably next fall - maybe going into Physical Therapy but I think I'll focus more on what field I will be going into once I get home.
Speaking of going home. I received my flight plans today. I will be leaving Guadalajara and flying to LA (being a 3 and a half hour trip) and from there I'll fly to Salt Lake (being an hour and 45 minute trip). My time is short and getting shorter...
I'm working hard and love my area.
Love,
Elder Summers
