Before getting to Keegan's email this week, here's a bit of explanation. This past Sunday Xander spoke in church before leaving on his mission. He's headed to the New Zealand Auckland mission and reports to the New Zealand MTC on 11/20. Consequently we had a lot of family and friends show up to support him both at church as well as at a luncheon afterward. We sent Keegan and Xochitl this set of pictures... | |
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all of these pictures. Everyone looks so much different. Sam looks more like Ely. Kody looks exactly like Shane. All of my cousins look so much older. Rich... well, looks like Rich... with his asinine beard. Thanks for the pictures. My companion can't stop telling me how much my mom and dad and my brothers look like me. I love every single one of you so much. I definitely have the best family that has ever and will ever exist. I am really proud of you, Xander, for this step that you are taking. I know you will be an amazing missionary and I love to call you my brother. You are an example to me if you like it or not. I think youre a great guy and don't care what everyone else says about you. You are going to be an awesome missionary. I'm not going to be seeing you for about 3 and a half years but for some reason it doesn't make me sad. I know you are going to work hard and you are going to a place where the Lord needs you to be. Work hard but don't change too much ;) Love you kid.
As for the rest of you, I don't have time to write you all this week. I love you all and am enjoying my time here in the mission. I love feeling the Spirit here and am excited to continue working my butt off in the best mission that has ever existed! La Misión México Guadalajara Este (sorry for all you missionaries out there, I guess you'll just have to deal with it :)
Keep enjoying life... and go to church.
Love,
Elder Summers
