Familia,
Well, I am missing studying in the morning. We have had so many meetings lately I haven't been able to study the normal amount all this last week. I miss the scriptures. Before the mission I remember that I used to try and at least read 2 verses everyday before going to bed (you can hardly call that studying) but I am definitely going to have a goal to actually study the scriptures every single day.
We have gone to Guadalajara a lot this last week for lots of different reasons (District meetings, Diviciones, Interviews, and some other fun stuff). We also moved houses this week so we have had to take care of that good stuff in the mornings as well. I want to study again!
This week was a long week. We did a lot of walking... little bit of teaching... we found 7 new investigadors... and then we had 0 (yes, zero) attend church. It's really tough for us on Sundays. My companion and I go to church early so that we can set everything up in the House of Prayer, then we have Meeting Council, then my companion does interviews with some members, then he does tithing stuff, and I just sit there pretty much and do nothing.
It's really tough getting people to church. One of the reasons is because here in Jalisco... people don't have cars... and we can't go with people Sunday morning because we are so busy at church. There are a lot of other reasons why its hard to get people to church... but these are two of the main reasons for us. So the whole problem of having 0 investigadores en la Reunión Sacramental continues.
This has been a really fast change... this will be the last week of this change so we will have to see if I stay in Tepatitlán or if I will go on somewhere else. I kind of got the feeling that I will be leaving but we will just have to wait next week.
Love,
Elder Summers
