Pues the MTC is so great! I am loving all of my time here! I have my ups and
downs but I know that each day is bringing me closer to Christ! My district is
awesome! I love all the Elders and the Hermanas in my district. We are all
growing in the gospel together. The spanish is coming along but Im no where near fluent yet! But I know that the Lord is providing for me and I know that as long as I'm patient with spanish... it will come! One thing that I am learning already is how to be patient and how to control my anger. I'm being able to step back and tell myself that its okay when things dont go according to plan. Don't get me wrong, I do get frustrated with myself when I mess up but I am learning how to express my anger in different ways. My companero Elder Petersen is really a good guy! Although we both are different I am definitely learning how to work with
someone you don't always see eye to eye with. He is getting frustrated with the Spanish and when things don't go the way he wants he gets upset and angry. I know the Lord has put us together for a reason, and I am really learning through his frustrations that you don't need to get angry, its okay, its just fine. The Lord will provide. Being District Leader can be hard sometimes, people look at me as if I know what I'm doing... I honestly don't feel like I know what to do or say. But I feel the spirit and prayers of the people back home helping me become the person that Heavenly Father is training me to become.

Elder Covington is one of the most funniest (if not the funniest) guys ive ever
met. He seriously makes me laugh so hard. One day this week Elder Covington and I just stayed up way late just laughing and dumb things. It was so funny and I love him so much! In class we were talking about the future tense and how to say "Will You" and waht he understood out of our spanish teachers mouth (because our lectures are usually in spanish only) was that a man named Will was stuck in the future and that It was our job to save him and bring him back. Ever sense that lecture him and I have been searching for clues of how to save Will from the Future. We think that the Teachers all have something to do with it but we're unsure. Elder Covington and I are also carrying around bananas that we are using as weapons to help us on our conquest to save Will. We call our bananas "Fruit Pistols". People give us wierd looks while we go across the MTC with our fruit pistols in our hands, people ask us why were pointing the bananas like a gun at people and we simply respond "We're trying to find Will". Elder Covington was in class and he was asked to lead the music. He was leading the music and then he pulled his Fruit Pistol out and started leading with it! I couldnt stop laughing :D but our teacher didn't find it very comical. I tell you my experiences with Elder Covington to let everyone know that although I am growing up... I'm not grown up yet :)

Elder Nelson came and talked in a Devotional this week and It was phenomenal! He talked about that we have to smile and be happy to bring people unto Christ. I'll tell you one thing, my face hurts at night because I've been smiling so much all day! I smile so much because this work is truly making me happy! But even more than that I smile because I am so excited to invite others to be happy like I am. Because I know without a doubt in my mind that only through Jesus Christ can we fully be happy! I want to bring that message with me to Guadalajara and let them know exactly how to be happy just by the smile I wear on my face! I love you all and am excited to tell you more of my adventures! I love hearing about home and it makes me feel good to know you all are doing great! I am praying for you todos los dias and please keep praying for me because it truly makes a difference!
