¡Hola de Tepatitlan Mexico!
Okay this last week was pretty cool! It was the last week of Elder Tucker's mission so we got to say goodbye to a lot of members. It was just really neat seeing how much the members really care about him and really do hope him the best. It was also sad to see how many people were literally sad about him
leaving! I'll be honest, I'm kind of sad as well. I learned a lot from Elder Tucker and It was awesome being his companion. One thing that I learned from him is the importance of just being calm. He really was just calm, it was cool. He was the type of Elder that didn't shove the gospel down peoples throat. It's more important to gain the trust of people before trying to preach to them, otherwise it just comes off as that we are just some weirdoes trying to baptize them. I am sad for that Elder Tucker left but at the same time I am excited for him to be able to see his family after serving 2 years. I am also excited for the next
part of my mission and am way excited to learn even more in the gospel and help others to come unto Christ.
I am super excited about my nuevo compañero Elder Hernandez. He's just a
really neat and spiritual guy. I met him earlier in my mission and I thought he was just a really down to earth Elder. He's just got this spirit about him when you are around him... its really neat. I am really excited for the things that we are going to do together and the people we are going to help. I am also very excited to learn Spanish and that I am being blessed with a native speaker of the Spanish language. I feel like I am going to be able to learn a lot from him, not only in Spanish but with a lot of other things! I know this letter is short but I want you all to know that I am doing great and am super excited for what the next part of my mission brings!
Con Amor,
Elder Summers
